Gross Motor Therapy Intensive

These visits are 1 to 3 weeks and therapy techniques will be based on what is appropriate for your child. Sessions can range from 1 to 3 hours. These type of intensives address gross motor skills that may be difficult for your child including rolling, sitting, crawling, pulling to stand, or walking. Interventions can include DMI, NMES, Kinesiotaping, and more.

Fine Motor/CIMT Intensive

These visits are 1 to 3 weeks and are 1-2 hours. These types of intensives address fine motor and bimanual skills for the child who has difficulty with using one of their upper extremities. Interventions include utilization of CIMT cast, NMES, strength and endurance, bilateral coordination or bimanual activities, activities of daily living (ADL’s) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL’s), and play.

Handwriting Intensive

These visits are 1 to 2 weeks and are 1 hour per day. These types of intensives address fine motor skills, visual motor skills, sensory processing, and handwriting for school tasks. Specialized handwriting curriculums in conjunction with therapy techniques to help your child advance their skills for writing during school tasks.

Weekly Visits

These visits will be custom to the child and focus on the goals set during the first session. They can include gross and fine motor skills. They will be scheduled depending on availability for the week.

Telehealth/Online Consults

These visits are available to provide services for those who cannot connect in person. During these visits exercises and activities that will assist the child with occupational participation will be provided.
