These are the current services that will be provided in 2024.

Therapy Intensive

These visits are 1 to 2 weeks and therapy techniques will be based on what is appropriate for your child. Sessions can range from 1 to 3 hours. These type of intensives address gross motor skills that may be difficult for your child including rolling, sitting, crawling, pulling to stand, or walking. Interventions can include DMI, NMES, Kinesiotaping, and more.

Upper Extremity/CIMT Intensive

These visits are 1 to 2 weeks and are 1-2 hours. These types of intensives address fine motor and bimanual skills for the child who has difficulty with using one of their upper extremities. Interventions include utilization of CIMT cast, NMES, strength and endurance, bilateral coordination or bimanual activities, activities of daily living (ADL’s) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL’s), and play.

Telehealth/Online Consults

These visits are available to provide services for those who cannot connect in person. During these visits exercises and activities that will assist the child with occupational participation will be provided.

 FAQs

  • All DMI intensives and traditional OT services are private pay only. At this time, I do not accept insurance. All invoices will be sent by Square and are HIPAA compliant. A super bill is available upon request. I also accept the Step Up for Students (formerly the Gardiner) Scholarship and DSAJ Inclusion Solutions.

  • Yes- currently I will travel in the state of Florida to do DMI intensives or other OT services. In order for me to travel, I would like to book at least 3 children in your area. I also require assistance with lodging while in your area.

  • Please refer to my schedule on this website. I try to update it regularly with my current schedule. If you are looking for me to travel to you, then please look at the dates that state “open to travel.” The other dates that state “Jacksonville, FL” are not flexible because I have a family too and these dates I need to be home with them.

  • In your home or a common area that can be designated when booking. We can discuss this more when you reach out to me. Some families do travel to Jacksonville and they have stayed in an Airbnb or VRBO which allows for space for therapy. If I am traveling to you and you are interested in hosting other families to attend, please let me know this when booking.

  • The child must be 40 lbs. or under.

  • Safety. When it comes to therapy, it is most important that I keep your child and myself safe during all handling. Please be honest with me. If your child is over 40 lbs., then the activities that are completed during treatment may be limited.

  • Currently, I do not offer these services and am focusing on providing therapy interventions. These interventions may be offered again in the future.

  • I am currently licensed in the state of Florida, Alabama, and Pennsylvania.
